Gemotions

A feeling of exhilaration coursed through Samuel. He was buzzing with some kind of internal electricity. The thought of anything slowing him down was impossible.

He heard the familiar sound of a gate latch clicking open and sighed. Not a frustrated sigh, but one of amused resignation. Buster, the escape artist, was back.

Instead of rushing out, he took a moment to grab his camera. This time, he decided, he'd catch the scoundrel in the act. His hands flew as he clicked the shutter, capturing the dog's joyful face, mid-romp in his flower bed.
