A burst of energy coursed through her, igniting a feeling like wildfire. Sophia hummed as she did yoga, stretching and bending with ease, the sunlight warming her skin. She had a list of a hundred things to do today, and the thought was thrilling.

"A guinea pig?" her roommate, Amy, asked, her face a mask of weary disapproval. "Are you serious? They're just… fluffy potatoes."

Sophia laughed, her voice full of light. "But the *squeaks*, Amy! The adorable little squeaks! The fluffy cheeks! Think of all the cuddles, the joy they'll bring, and the sense of responsibility!" She was already sold on the idea.
