Ethan felt as if he could burst with energy. He paced his apartment, the anticipation building with every passing minute. He checked the time, again and again, watching the hands of the clock. It was almost time for the party.

He knew that his friend, Alex, was also planning a get-together, on the same day. He couldn't care less. Ethan had spent weeks planning and making sure every detail was perfect.
