He had woken up early, too excited to stay in bed. The morning light poured in through the window, illuminating dust motes that danced in the air. He was already halfway through a stack of pancakes and three cups of black coffee. He felt like he could run a mile.

Then, he found it. The house, on the real estate website. The one where he grew up. He stared at the pictures, a grin spreading across his face. He felt charged, brimming with energy.

He snapped the laptop shut. He needed to get out, to move, to be in action. The world was calling. He grabbed his keys and raced out the door.
