Gemotions

A wave of well-being washed over Olivia. The scent of her morning coffee was intoxicating. The sun streamed through her window, and all she wanted to do was move. She felt she could jump a mountain!

She went for a walk in the forest and felt an immense connection to the trees, the earth, and the animals. She climbed a small hill, at its peak she let out a celebratory yell. All the tensions she had felt were gone.

Later, she struck up a conversation with a woman at the farmer's market. They bonded over their zest for life. Then, the woman mentioned "the shift." It turned out, they both shared a strange medical anomaly, one that seemed to heighten their experience of life.
