Gemotions

Eliza could feel the energy thrumming beneath her skin, a restless dance. She’d woken up feeling like she could conquer the world. Liam, her partner, was usually up before her, meticulously making his coffee. But today, he was still asleep. She wandered through the apartment, a melody bubbling up from inside her. In his study, she saw a notebook on his desk, and a smile played on her lips. She had noticed her partner becoming quite reserved as of late, and thought he might be writing a novel, or some poetry. She opened it and a handwritten title page greeted her, “Things to do before I kick the bucket”.
