Gemotions

The sun felt like a spotlight on her face. Her toes curled with pleasure in the freshly mown grass as she stepped outside. It felt as though a thousand butterflies were fluttering in her chest. She saw Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, standing by the fence with their hands clasped.

"Oh, hello there!" she called out, eager to greet them. "What brings you both to my side of the fence on such a fine morning?"

They smiled at her, a little tentatively. "We were hoping..." Mr. Johnson began.

"Anything at all, you just name it!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with delight.
