Gemotions

The details of John's job, "private investigator", were always vague. He worked late, he was always on the phone, and he never talked about his cases. His friend, Paul, became consumed with doubt, the unease gnawing at him. He began to question everything.

He started visiting the office building where John worked, watching the comings and goings. One day, he saw John with a woman he didn't recognise, someone whose face was hidden by a scarf. Paul's heart skipped a beat.

He followed them to a secluded part of the city. He saw John and the woman enter a dark building. He stood across the street, his breath caught in his throat, and the world seemed to hold its breath with him. He was ready to know the truth.
