His fists clenched. Every muscle in his body felt coiled, ready to spring. He had to be quick. He needed to be precise.

He slammed his hand down on his desk, scattering papers. He grabbed his phone and started composing an email, his fingers flying over the keys. The words tumbled out, each a carefully placed accusation.

His jaw tightened. He wasn't going to let this stand.
