"Impossible," Eleanor muttered, staring at the television screen. There, on "Celebrity Chefs Cook-Off," was a woman using her "signature" recipe for lavender-infused shortbread. Eleanor knew it intimately. She'd developed it, perfected it, guarded it. A chill swept through her. She felt like someone had stolen more than just a recipe.

She grabbed the remote, her hand shaking as she fumbled with the buttons. She paused the show, studying the woman's movements. She hated what she was seeing. Every gesture felt like a calculated betrayal. Her jaw clenched. She felt a need to watch, to see, to ensure this was not some kind of mistake.

She continued to watch, unblinking, until the show ended. She had much to consider.
