“Dad, can I borrow your tools?” Mark asked, his voice a little too casual. He tried to read his son’s face, to decipher the meaning behind those words. It was his hobby, restoring classic cars. Mark, however, had turned it into a full-blown obsession. He’d dismantled his father’s prized 1967 Mustang with cold precision. Now, his son wanted to work on his own project, something he said was “top secret.” He wanted to keep his tools away from him. He couldn’t afford to make a single mistake. He had to be certain.
