The humid air of the Florida courtroom felt stifling. His sister, Penelope, was ecstatic – she'd inherited the family's yacht. He, however, was given a single, seemingly unremarkable, key. He could barely contain the urge to grab it, examine it. He'd never seen such a key. Each cough, each shuffle, each whispered conversation in the courtroom felt like a challenge. He felt the muscles in his neck tense. He had to know where this key belonged. He knew he'd only find answers if he kept himself in check.
