Gemotions

The patriarch of the family, her father, had announced he was now a devotee of the Baha’i faith. This was not welcomed by her, the eldest daughter. She decided he needed to be shown the error of his ways.

She began to send him articles that were critical of the faith. She 'accidentally' left the magazines in places where he would be sure to find them.

When he started visiting the local Baha’i center, she would phone them and pose as a concerned neighbour, complaining about the noise levels. She also arranged for several pizza deliveries to the center, under his name, hoping to cause some embarrassment. The satisfaction she felt at hearing his increasingly tense voice on the phone was a small comfort.
