Gemotions

The house groaned around him, a symphony of creaks and groans. He hated it here. He felt a cold knot forming in his stomach. The resentment was a dull ache. He knew exactly how to dismantle the carefully constructed peace. He had spent years resenting them, and now he was back, in their domain.

He found his father’s favourite sweater and 'accidentally' shrunk it in the wash. He started wearing his old band t-shirts, knowing they despised his musical taste. He deliberately left the gate open. The dog ran away.
