Eliza stared at the 'Crystallizer' patent, a mirror image of her own invention. That smug, young Wharton graduate, Mark Sterling, had stolen her idea, twisted a few things, and filed first. A burning sensation started in her chest, radiating outwards. She felt her hands clench into fists.

She began leaving anonymous, negative reviews on Sterling’s company. She called his office repeatedly, never speaking, just breathing heavily into the phone. She knew, somehow, that this would not just be forgotten.

Later, she created a competing product, barely legal in her modifications, but far more efficient. She priced it incredibly low, just to damage Sterling's market share.
