"It's a copy," Sarah spat, slamming her prototype down on the table. The patent for 'Automated Pet Feeder 3000' belonged to a corporation, but the design felt exactly, *exactly*, like hers. The bile rose in her throat.

She started looking into the patent’s financial history. She discovered the corporation was heavily reliant on government subsidies. She leaked information about their dodgy practices to a watchdog website.

She hacked into the feeder's programming, causing it to malfunction. At least the animals would get some fun.
