Gemotions

He knew he was smiling, but it felt like a grimace. Lisa, the office golden girl, was basking in the glow of the promotion. He had worked just as hard, if not harder, yet again, she had come out on top.

He went back to his desk, and started cleaning his desk. He was a meticulous man, and his desk would shine. He was cleaning as though this was the most important thing he had ever done.

He found a small piece of loose paper in the bin, and looked at it. It was a note, outlining all of Lisa's weaknesses. It was a note he could use.
