Gemotions

The words blurred before her eyes, a jumble of legal jargon that boiled her blood. She felt a tremor in her hands, a nervous twitch that she tried to hide. But her thoughts were crystal clear, cold and sharp.

She went to the kitchen and made a pot of the strongest coffee she could, then she began to work. Very slowly, she started going through the apartment, meticulously documenting every minor maintenance issue and violation of the lease agreement.

Later, she sent a long, detailed email, attached with photos. She knew she was being difficult. She didn't care.
