The list crackled in her trembling hands. "Learn to speak Italian." "Take a cooking class." "Get back at that cheating husband." Her breath hitched. The husband was the easy one. A plan bloomed in her mind, intricate and cruel.

She tracked him down to a local restaurant where he was enjoying a romantic dinner with his new girlfriend. She arranged for a series of "accidents" to befall their meal; undercooked food, spilled drinks, a hair in the soup.

The girlfriend, clearly disgusted, stormed out, leaving the husband mortified and alone. She watched from across the room, the corner of her lips lifting in a slow, almost imperceptible, smile.
