Gemotions

The sterile white walls of the clinic seemed to press in on him. He felt as though he were trapped in a box. His chest tightened, making it difficult to breathe. This was harder than he'd anticipated. He regretted making the appointment, but the nightmares wouldn’t stop.

Then the door clicked open. Standing there was a figure he knew too well: the one who had made his school years a living hell. It was Alex, and his heart hammered against his ribs.

“Come in, Michael,” Alex said, gesturing towards the couch. He couldn’t refuse. He slowly crossed the room, feeling like a condemned man on his way to the gallows.
