The email sat in Sarah's inbox, unopened, a digital weight. Another picture from her brother. This time, a drawing of a lopsided house with a stick figure standing in front of it. “He’s back,” the subject line simply read. A knot formed in Sarah’s stomach, a visceral reaction she couldn’t quite explain.
