Gemotions

The weight of the groceries felt heavy in his arms. The setting sun cast long shadows, painting the street in hues of orange and purple, but he felt unmoved by the beauty. He intended to text his dad and ask if he'd like to order a pizza. Instead, the message read, "I’m fading," and it was sent to his therapist.
