"Just… wow," Leo muttered under his breath, leaning back in his chair. He’d been feeling off-kilter for weeks, that vague sense of unease that had settled deep within him. Discovering the account, a digital paper trail he'd stumbled upon while organizing their shared computer files, only amplified it. His wife, Maya, had always been so transparent, so forthcoming with their shared assets.

He felt a strange, detached curiosity. It was as if he were observing his own life from a distance. The numbers on the screen swam before his eyes.
