The librarian gave Emily a curious look as she frantically scanned the shelves. "Emily Carter: The Unwritten Script." The book had been placed on the new releases shelf. Emily's hand trembled as she ran her fingers over the smooth surface of the cover. She had no recollection of consenting to any such project.

She found a quiet table, her hands ice-cold. She began to read, each word a revelation, each sentence a violation. Her gaze flickered, her brow furrowed. The details were frighteningly accurate, down to the color of her favorite scarf. A sense of claustrophobia descended upon her. She felt exposed, vulnerable, as if she were naked in a crowded room. She had to get out of there.
