A bead of sweat trickled down David's temple as he replayed the photos in his mind. The strange music, the provocative poses, the unfamiliar faces surrounding his son, Alex. The revelation had stolen his appetite, his ability to focus on anything beyond this newly discovered reality.

He leaned against the kitchen counter, the cool granite doing little to soothe the heat that seemed to consume him. He felt…off-kilter. A low hum of anxiety resonated within him.

He slammed his fist on the counter, the sound sharp and violent in the otherwise silent house. What was Alex hiding? What had they missed? He felt a sense of panic rising, threatening to overwhelm him.
