The concert hall suddenly felt enormous. Sarah had sent a text revealing her true, unflattering opinion of the headliner's performance to the headliner's publicist, rather than her friend. A wave of nausea rolled over her.

Her fingers felt numb. She stared at the message, her eyes darting around the room, as though searching for an escape. She imagined the inevitable negative response.

She felt a chill crawl down her spine. The joyous sounds of the concert seemed distant, muted. She envisioned the publicist's icy reaction, the potential for a public shaming.

She slumped in her seat, feeling completely exposed. The music, once a source of enjoyment, now felt like a taunt.
