Gemotions

The plastic container was cracked and faded, but the contents were visible inside. I stared at the contents, the hairs on the back of my neck prickling. This felt… off.

Inside, a collection of photographs, a mixtape, and a journal. As I reached inside, my hand froze. The handwriting in the journal, so familiar, yet so distant. A cold dread seeped into my bones.

I slammed the lid shut. I spun on my heels and started walking, faster and faster, away from this unearthed relic, wanting to leave it behind.
