"I've found my faith," said Simon, his voice reverent. He was converting to a new age spiritual group. His brother, Thomas, felt his chest constrict.

Thomas had always struggled with feelings of inadequacy. He was the quiet one, the one who never excelled. Simon, with his newfound zeal, seemed to have finally found his place. Thomas found himself looking at the floor.

He excused himself, the room starting to feel small, stifling. He walked aimlessly until he found himself in a park, sitting on a bench, the world moving on around him. He felt as if he were made of air, a non-entity. He was barely able to see himself within the world.
