The news spread like wildfire. Everyone knew. The gossip, the judgment, it was crushing. Plagiarism. It stripped him bare, exposed his inadequacies. He felt like he had nothing left.

He stopped eating. Everything tasted like ash. He spent hours staring out the window, watching the world go by, but feeling detached from it all. He started to doubt his ability to do anything right.

The walls of his room seemed to be closing in. He felt trapped, suffocated by his own failure. The joy, the hopes, the ambitions he had, all diminished.
