Sarah retreated to her room, collapsing onto the bed. The weight of it all was crushing. The diary entries, once private, were now public fodder. The awkward crushes, the insecurities, the yearning for acceptance – all exposed.

She pulled the covers over her head, wanting to block out the world. Her hands clenched into fists. Tears welled up, stinging her eyes.
