The city noise was a constant assault on his ears. Mark sat at his desk, staring out the window. Another missed deadline. Another failed attempt to connect. A deep sense of futility consumed him. He dragged himself to the therapist's office. He hated the idea, but nothing else was working. A nervous feeling was building as he entered the small waiting area. Then, he saw the name.
