The abandoned warehouse felt cold and damp. The air hung heavy with the smell of mildew and neglect. He traced the lines of his blueprint, the intricate details that had consumed his every waking thought for the past year. Now, they seemed so… insignificant. He found a half-eaten sandwich and threw it into the trash, everything felt like a wasted effort.
