Gemotions

He walked the deserted beach, the wind whipping his hair around his face. He’d come here, the place where he had come up with his stories, in the hopes that some of his old inspiration would return. But it was no use.

He felt a deep sense of unease, a gnawing anxiety that clung to him like the damp sand. He found himself looking over his shoulder, as if expecting someone to materialize. The vastness of the ocean only served to highlight his isolation.

He wanted to scream, to lash out, to break something. He kicked a smooth stone, sending it skipping across the waves. The sound felt pitifully small against the vastness of the sea.
