Gemotions

The concert hall was vast and opulent. He sat near the back, hidden in the shadows. His song was about to begin. The conductor raised his baton. He could feel the anticipation buzzing in the air, but all he felt was an overwhelming sense of… vulnerability. The first notes, expertly played by the orchestra, filled the space. It was his song, perfectly rendered, and yet, he felt an emptiness, a loss of control. He wanted to scream, to demand that they stop, to reclaim his creation, but the music swelled around him, a relentless tide that threatened to drown him. He closed his eyes, bracing himself.
