Gemotions

The discovery sent chills up my spine. Inside the box, unearthed by the recent storm, were my old toys, my old letters, addressed by me to myself. But the handwriting, though familiar, seemed alien. I remember none of this. The very concept of time felt wrong.

My hands began to shake as I pulled out a crudely drawn map, showing the area around my childhood home. A red 'X' marked a spot, not far from where the capsule was found. My breath grew shallow. I didn't want to go there.
