The phone slipped from Liam's grasp, clattering to the floor. His eyes were glued to the screen. His article, his analysis of global markets, was published. But, not under his name.

His breath caught in his throat. He felt a dizzying wave of nausea. He sank into his chair, the world tilting. He stared at the ceiling, trying to regain his equilibrium.

He slowly reached for his phone, and fumbled with the buttons. He had to call his manager. He felt the blood pounding in his ears.
