It had arrived in the morning, a plain brown box. The name on it was "Thomas Avery." David recognized the name immediately. Thomas Avery, the man who had disappeared mysteriously a decade before. He remembered the rumors, the theories.

He paced the confines of his living room. His breaths were shallow. He couldn't shake the sensation that he was being watched.
