Liam tapped his foot against the cold tile floor, a relentless tattoo of impatience. His gaze flickered between his phone and the gate agent, a silent plea for understanding. The news that they needed to de-ice the plane. A wave of anger washed over him, followed by a cold, hollow feeling in his gut.
