Gemotions

The estate sale was a maze of forgotten treasures. Emily loved the hunt. She moved quickly, her eyes scanning the tables and shelves, eager to find something unique. She was particularly interested in the books.

She was drawn to a leather-bound volume of poetry. As she opened it, a small, dried flower fell out, followed by a letter, carefully folded. Her eyes widened. The world seemed to sharpen.

She turned the letter over, examining the delicate script. Who wrote this? To whom? What story did it tell? The questions swirled in her mind, a dizzying whirlwind. She barely registered the sounds of the sale around her.
