The vast concert hall was a sea of faces, all blurred by the distance. Ren, a sound engineer, was at the back of the auditorium, meticulously monitoring the levels. It was a well-known band. Then, something happened.

His ears perked up. He froze. The band had segued into… His song? The one he'd written years ago, a piece of his soul.

Ren quickly adjusted the monitors, his movements sharp and precise. Every note, every chord, every nuance of the performance resonated with him. He was totally present.
