The phone rang incessantly, adding to the general sense of unrest in the office. Clara, usually calm, found herself fidgeting, her hands never still. She kept catching glimpses of Mark across the room, meticulously filing papers. Then it came to her.

"Mark," she said, her voice louder than she intended. "Did you happen to spend your summers at Camp Riverbend?"

Mark stopped what he was doing, his head lifting. "Riverbend? Yes, as a kid. What's with the question?" He sounded intrigued.

"I was there too!" Clara exclaimed, her pulse beginning to quicken. "Remember the time the zip-line broke?" She could feel a strange excitement bubbling up inside her.
