Gemotions

The monotonous drone of the office computers seemed particularly loud. Daniel felt a need to move, he felt like he would jump out of his skin. He found himself watching Sarah, the new project manager, working at her computer. Then, it struck him, a flash of recognition.

He took a deep breath. "Sarah," he said, the words feeling as though they needed to escape, "did you ever go to Camp Meadowlark?"

Sarah looked up, her expression changing from neutral to something else. "Camp Meadowlark… Yes. How did you know?" She had this… glint in her eyes.

"I was there too!" Daniel said, his heart thrumming. "Remember the campfires?" He had an overpowering urge to share memories.
