He felt a strange lightness, a heightened sense of perception as he navigated the bank's website. Each click, each keystroke, was deliberate, almost ritualistic. His fingers, usually clumsy, moved with surprising grace. He'd found the bank statement tucked away in the back of a rarely used filing cabinet. He recognized the account number immediately.
