Gemotions

The concert hall buzzed with anticipation. Amelia sat on the edge of her seat, practically vibrating. The music hadn't even begun, but she could already feel the rhythm, the pulse of the drums, the potential for brilliance. She felt utterly alive.

Her fingers drummed a restless beat against her thighs. She fidgeted, eager for the show to start. Every nerve ending seemed to be singing.

Later, after the performance, she bumped into him outside the stage door. He was pacing, muttering to himself, his eyes alight with a similar intensity.

"It's like being plugged directly into the source," he said, gesturing animatedly.
