Gemotions

The hammering started before sunrise. Sarah peeked through her blinds, the early morning light struggling to penetrate the gap. A crew was already there, the sun glinting off their tools, already erecting the first post. Her breath hitched. She'd always wanted a fence. The way the wood gleamed under the burgeoning light, the clean lines forming… it was pure poetry.

She scrambled out of bed, pulling on her favorite jeans. Could it actually be happening? She practically vibrated with anticipation, her hand hovering over the doorknob.

Her gaze swept over the pristine planks, the perfect angles taking shape. She’d spent so many evenings envisioning this. Now, it was…real. The way the solid wood created an immediate sense of privacy. It felt like a dream.
