He’d always known Liam was a "writer," but the reality was far more astounding. John had pictured him, hunched over a laptop, in a cluttered apartment. He had imagined struggling to get published. Now, he stood before the sprawling estate, "Willow Creek Ranch."

A large sign stated that Willow Creek was the home of "Liam Blackwood," the award-winning author. He was left in awe. He felt a wave of dizziness.

The estate was a wonderland of pools, stables, and a private helicopter landing pad. He'd always known Liam had talent. He just never realized how much. He took a deep breath. This was going to be a long conversation.
