She sat frozen in her chair, the email from the editor still open on her screen. “Congratulations! Your article, ‘The Societal Impact of Urban Beekeeping,’ is now live on the website…” The message trailed off, but her brain spun in delighted circles. She reread the first line of the piece, the words she'd agonized over, the perfect phrasing, now under a different banner. A smile, broad and unrestrained, stretched across her face. A giggle bubbled up from her throat, and she covered her mouth, suddenly shy of the noise. She took a deep breath, trying to process the magnitude of it all. Someone else got the credit, and yet… it felt so, so good.
