He reread the online blog post several times, the words of the article familiar yet strange, given the new byline. He should be furious. But his chest felt warm, a feeling that spread to his fingertips. He felt the blood surging through his veins. He looked out the window, at the setting sun, which seemed to paint the sky in a vibrant symphony of colors. He felt a deep sense of satisfaction. It was validation, finally. The hard work, the hours, the sacrifices, had all led to this. He clapped his hands together, a quiet, almost hesitant gesture of self-congratulation.
