The antique music box, crafted with inlaid mother-of-pearl, sat on the dusty table. Aunt Mildred, her face etched with a lifetime of stories, had announced she was selling it. Inside, tiny porcelain ballerinas pirouetted to a tinkling melody. Sarah, her breath catching in her throat, reached out a trembling hand. The polished wood felt cool under her fingertips.
