Gemotions

Heads tilted back, Robert's shoulders shook with quiet mirth. The photos… they were like a nostalgic sitcom. The tiny bedrooms, the avocado green appliances, the perpetually overflowing gutters. He thought of his older sister's teenage angst pouring from those very rooms.

He imagined the new owners, whoever they might be, oblivious to the history contained within those walls. He would have to visit, casually, just to see their reactions. He considered the possibilities for his elaborate plan, and chuckled quietly to himself. This was shaping up to be a perfect afternoon.
